True North Letterpress

True North Letterpress is a design and letterpress studio now open in downtown Twisp on North Glover Street!

The studio features a shop that sells hand printed gift cards and paper goods, local art, and showcases historic printing equipment that’s used to create many of the things available for sale. Custom letterpress printing services are also available for wedding invitations and other specialty projects.

Since opening True North in late 2018, Robin has focused on developing designs that are influenced by her strong sense of color and the studio’s collection of vintage metal type. “Right now, I’m designing by using traditional typesetting alongside colorful elements created with more modern printing techniques. I want to cultivate an appreciation for the craft of letterpress but I’m definitely not a traditionalist.”

Look for True North Letterpress goods at Methow Valley Goods on the TwispWorks campus or at other local retailers. You're always welcome to stop into the new location and see the printing press in action next time you’re visiting Glover Street in downtown Twisp!
