Methow Valley Ciderhouse

The Methow Valley Ciderhouse is more than a restaurant that focuses on food, fun, and fine ciders and other beverages. It began with a move to the Methow Valley in 2004 where Lynn and Richard Wasson found the perfect site for growing organic apples – fifteen acres of rich soil that was once an old lake bed, just outside of Winthrop, Washington. They planted and nurtured many varieties of cider apples from old American, English, and French trees.

In 2007, Richard and Lynn opened a tasting room on site where they welcomed families, pets, and the cider loving public to try our ciders, play bocce ball, listen to live music, and generally enjoy hanging out in a beautiful, scenic orchard. In 2015, they decided to expand and move into town where they could receive more exposure and offer more than cider and cider donuts. They  purchased the old Fasse Realty building and proceeded to transform it into a venue that is close to town but just far enough away to offer tranquility and space.

The Methow Valley Ciderhouse restaurant opened May of 2016 to offer guests beer & wine in addition to cider and a full lunch and dinner menu. And in 2017, they created our Apple Amphitheater - a large outdoor space for eating and drinking while enjoying live musical concerts, dancing, and playing games.
